Most people are seen to throw fits of anxiety. A recent research stated that 88% people felt agitated and experienced heightenedanxiety when they were unable to connect to the internet.

Another example of the anxiety induced by high tech life is when we send out a Whatsapp message to someone and do not see them online instantaneously, typing a response. With increasing security concerns around the globe, many people, specifically parents and spouses tend to feel extremely anxious if a lot of time elapses and they have not heard back from their loved one.

With all this anxiety and impatience, stress levels are bound to be very high. Therefore it is necessary for people to frequently take time out for themselves so as to de-stress and relax.

The Unemployment Rate In US Falls To 7-Year Low

The US economy expanded at 0.2 percent in the first quarter of this year. The reasons of struggle for sluggish economic period was decrease in exports because of weakening of dollar, bad weather that hindered consumer spending and drop in oil prices. The economists expected a drop in the unemployment rate at a higher percentage with approximately 228,000 job prospects created in the economy.

However, the unemployment rate in United States fell to 5.4 percent which in March, 2015 was at 5.5 percent. In the month of April the payrolls increased to 223,000.The increase in number of job gains is still lower than what experts expected but still it is rated as being the lowest since May 2008. The Federal Reserve tends to associate the decrease in unemployment with full employment and people returning to the labor force.

The government added 10,000 jobs but vital role of job growth in the economy came from the private sector. Private payrolls are added up to 213,000. Most of the job additions were seen in healthcare with 62000 new jobs. The decrease in oil prices brought unemployment in oil industry but the manufacturing industry had moderate job growth with approximately 1000 people being employed. There was also an addition of 45000 payrolls in construction sector.

During the past 12 months, the US economy had an estimation of 3 million new job creation opportunities. The Americans seem to join the labor force more encouragingly in the previous month increasing the participation rate to 62.8 percent which is 0.1 percent higher than March. Although the growth was slow but the unemployment rate is recorded to be the least in the past 30 years. In comparison to the last year, the hourly earnings in April increased by 2.2 percent on an average to $24.87.

The US economy now has more opportunities to pursue because of the stable market and huge growth in longer term payrolls. The investors took the news of renewed force in the economy delightedly. Even the impact was seen on government bond yields to decrease which has previously rising. The expected fall in unemployment rates and the job figures in real are still consistent with the Fed that would raise short-term interest rates in mid of this year.

Marketing strategies for unorganized retailers to compete competitively

Retail is sale of goods directly to the consumer in smaller quantities for his own consumption or use. Retailing is categorized either as organized or an unorganized retailing. Organized retailers are usually large retail outlets or chain of outlets and are often franchised. Unorganized retailing is locally owned business on a small scale that lacks standardization and upgraded technology. The term is interchangeably used for unorganized retailing is mom-and-pop shops, independent shops or local stores.

Unlike organized retailing the marketing strategies of unorganized retailing is different. Firstly, they can begin by selecting an appropriate location for their stores that would increase probability of higher number of footfall. Small unorganized retailers should always incorporate marketing strategy through their customer base. Strong customer relationship is the biggest advantage that unorganized retailers can use to generate more sales. Customer loyalty is higher with mom-and-pop shops therefore it is best to reinforce your brand and the quality of products through verbal communication.

Small independent retailers should try to know their customers, their purchase habits, payment mode, lifestyle, preferences and purchase history.

This will enable the retailer to devise better marketing strategies. Taking feedback from them will also help in improving the business.

Variety of products should be provided to the customers. It is best that you include branded products too that would help enhance the store’s image and increase customer footfall. Unorganized retailers should not only aim to provide good quality and variety but aim for better services as well such as credit facility.

Incorporate free home delivery if possible. Unorganized retailers can start initiating the delivery service for loyal customers or elderly people.
Gradually start providing service to all customers with proper implementation of the strategy.

Good relationship with the vendor is also a great marketing strategy for unorganized retailers. The retailers can make full use of the advantage from vendor’s expertise. Having a strong vendor relationship also brings benefits of easy payment conditions, favorable credit and pricing facility.

Small local shops can easily dominate the small area and the near-by neighborhood. Unorganized retailers are basically dependent on word of mouth promotion. This helps build loyalty amongst customers and leads to increase in customer base.

Dressing Up Enhances Girls’ Confidence and Uplifts Their Spirit

Parents of young girls often tell them not to dress up too much as it is not a “girlish” thing to do. Some adults perceive doing make up or wearing highly fashionable clothes and accessories as a ladylike act that does not suit pre-teens and teenaged girls.

However, if done within limits of decency and considerable simplicity, make up, jewelry and the whole process of dressing up and making oneself look good can add an oomph of confidence to a girl’s personality. The reason as to why this happens is basically that, when a girl looks good, she feels good.

The opposite is even truer; when a girl feels good, she looks good. So one must not think that all it takes to raise a young girl with overflowing confidenceis to provide her with a boxful of makeup items and loads of good clothes and accessories.

In order to boost your daughter’s confidence, make her feel that the world is her playground. Don’t put unnecessary restrictions on her by preventing her from dressing up and hanging out with her friends. Let her take pleasure in her own beauty and revel in the act of carrying herself like a little lady of sorts.

While it is important to let her experiment with different looks, it is equally important to help her realize that the best ornament she possesses is her smile. A genuine smile adds a lot more color to one’s personality as compared to any amount of jewelry or make up. A smile has the power to give a girl an air of unswerving confidence and vitality.

Additionally, tell your young daughter that even at times when she may not be feeling too good about herself, simply smiling at herself in the mirror will bring back her confidence. Furthermore, there is nothing that can replace a warm and sincere heart, which causes one to glow with a divine radiance.

Preventive Measures to Reduce Lower Back Pain

The problem occurs when you bend down to tie your shoe lace or to pick up something dropped on the floor and you suddenly feel a severe rush of pain in your lower back.  There could be a lot of reasons behind low back pain but certainly we are not sure of the actual problem. Most of the people assume that the pain is caused due to their weight or may be due to hours of sitting at work place. In a recently published research it is clearly defined that approximately 80 percent of people in the U.S. face the problem of low back pain because of their uncontrollable weight, inappropriate posture and lack of exercise.

In order to prevent low back pain here are certain treatments that should be taken into consideration as they might help in reducing the pain:

Conducting Body Therapies

The best technique for the treatment of low back pain is through massage and acupuncture. Massage helps in relieving the pain and effectively supports the muscles and tissues to be in the right place. According to studies acupuncture helps in the blood circulation and releases the stress. It also helps in straightening the spinal cords while increasing the motion of blood and relaxes the joints.  Some of the therapists also suggest conducting yoga because it helps in stretching the muscles of the body.

Taking Injections

In a lot of situations we see that taking pain killers and injections gives a temporary relief in pain of all sorts. Similarly under certain crucial situations of low back pain doctors’ advise to take injections in order to prevent chronic pain and reduce inflammation in the joints of the back bone.

Electric Stimulation

Some of the orthopedic physicians also suggest to undergo electrical stimulation in which current is sent to the nerves/ muscles which gives a long lasting relief in pain. Surgery should be the last step as it will involve certain side effects which may not occur immediately but in later stages of life.

Interesting comparison of real and fictional villains

When thinking of villains we end up relating negative thoughts of a bad guy or an evil genius that is planning to destroy the world. That is how movies and comics have portrayed fiendish characters to us. The fictional villains are made to be hated by us all. At the same time their absence makes the story incomplete, movies and books will be dull.

To compare the fictional evil doers with reality, one can find differences easily. Fictional convicts are more of super-villain sort. They have power, mega-mind and a complete evil genius. In reality, the villains are criminals having no super powers except the plans they devise to achieve what they want. Fictional bad guys are inspirations of artists and writers from real life scenarios only. They are created and developed in such a way that these evil souls seem realistic and logical.

The movies and novels may have expanded the dimensions of evilness. Villains are all tech savvy with upgraded technology, new machines and scientific labs. Not only these evil personas are filthy rich but these villains have strong muscular body. The new trend added to the negative-imaged character is their appeal and physical attraction. I believe it is just a way to grab attention and create a new twist in the plot.

People like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Osama Bin Laden to name a few are considered as real life villains. These possess more frightening and threatening personality than that of fictional evils. Where as in many cases the imaginary criminals may change and become a “good-guy” the real one is too rigid to change their cruel personality. In reality, people never like the wicked characteristics and they never have sympathies with them. Rather in real, these evil people have controversial personality and dreadful ends. End of fictional vicious characters is not necessarily the same. It depends what the writer wants in his or her plot therefore death or becoming humane both can be expected. At times to maintain the viewer’s interest the story is continued or a sequel is made where the evil villain returns.

The differences may be interesting but the similarity usually revolves around the devilish trait the villain possesses both in real and as fictional.

Do insects have a heart?

There are a lot of differences between a human being and an insect but have you ever thought about a mosquito that is only 16 millimeters large in size could have a heart too. A honey bee that is as tiny as a paper clip have a heart too. Usually we only see that insects have legs, antenna and wings but these are only the external parts and I guess none of us have ever thought they have a heart too but they are different from the human heart. If we talk about ant it does not have a heart neither any blood vessels but the only thing that keeps them alive is the open circular system and for breathing they have two small openings at the front called spiracles

The term used for an insect heart is called “Dorsal Vessel “which is a flexible tube that is located between the thorax and the abdomen. This tube runs in almost whole body and pumps the blood called Hemolymph which is basically a fluid that runs in the body of an insect that works exactly like blood in human body. Hemolymph is responsible for transporting the nutrients, salts, hormones and metabolic wastes controlling the shape of the body and its movement as well. The fluid only pumps in between head and tail because there is no other space in their body parts.

If we compare the body of human being, we have a lot of different parts in our body but an insect is very tiny and it does not have parts other than head and tail. Unlike human beings insects do not have blood vessels or arteries to carry blood everywhere that is needed in the body, but the Dorsal Vessel is responsible for carrying the fluid from in muscles and Ostia.

Easy ways to whiten teeth

It is extremely important to maintain oral hygiene and keep teeth clean. People always strive and want their teeth to look white as much as they can. It has been found that US citizens spend over $1.4 billion each year over teeth whitening products in order to get desired color of their teeth, as the amount is very huge to be spend on this issue. However, many people after spending thousands of dollars on teeth whitening products have realized that after using them the sensitivity of their teeth has increased. Afterthat they have aimed that they will not do anything due to their obsession of having white teeth that hurt their teeth. For the reason we have some useful natural methods that will help in teeth whitening.

The most effective way for teeth whitening is to use sodium bicarbonate, which is mildly abrasive and has great effectiveness in this regard. The paste of baking soda with lemon juice acts as bleach and can be used as a tooth paste to clean teeth naturally. Try not to use too much lemon juice as normal tap water can be used in place of it for the same purpose.

Another thing that might sound a bit crazy for getting whiter teeth is to rinse teeth with coconut oil. It is one of the unique and old methods that has been practiced by people in the past days. The amount of lauric acid found in coconut oil helps in eliminating bacteria from the teeth which is particularly found in plaque and has the potential to make teeth yellow. Not only this, coconut oil is helpful in promoting gum health and leaving behind fresh breath as well.

How To Dispose Your Credit Card

Remember that if you do not dispose of credit card by cutting or melting it properly, you are making a dream come true for thieves. Many people after finding that their card has been expired, simply toss them into dustbin which is an extremely inappropriate idea to do so. By destroying credit card wisely an individual is doing well not for others but for him only as it is one of the ways to protect personal information to be misused by wrong hands. Here are few steps through which credit cards can be disposed of properly.

1. Cut your card from the middle in a way that card number gets into half. By cutting in this way, the expiry date will also get slashed.

2. Now the second cut should be goes across the card all the way through the middle of the card number. Now you can see that the card number is completely damaged and has been broken into four pieces.

3. The third step to make card useless is to destroy the chip present in most of the cards these days. The importance of doing so is that the chip contains all your credit account details which can be interpreted easily by a professional with right gadget.

4. After that it is suggested that the name present on the card should also be destroyed so make sure you put the last cut on your name.

After cutting the card try not to dispose them of all together in one bin. It is still suggested that all the pieces of card should be thrown in separate bin so that you do not give a single chance to anyone who can retrieve your personal information.

How can Psychological Pricing effects Consumer Behavior

Psychological pricing is an effective way to encourage sales in which most of the marketers attempt to influence the customer behavior. These methods are usually used to understand the behavior of the consumers toward a product or service. By increasing the price, the sales of the company is also increased. This however happens only if the price is strategically placed in the mind of the consumer.

These strategies are always confined to the customers’ perception and instead of appealing the rational side of the consumers they target the emotional side. The positioning of the product or service always influence the consumers to buy it. If we look closely and try to understand the human psyches then we find that they always approach an odd pricing strategy for example a toy worth $5 will not be preferable to a toy worth $4.99. The value of toy is almost the same but in the mind of the consumers $4.99 lies within $4 so they think that it has a low cost. Similarly it is also used for larger amounts like, if a house costs $18,999 instead of $19,000. You aim to buy the one that lies within the bracket of $18,000 because consumer thinks that it is comparatively low in $18,999 than $19,000.

This strategy helps to build a positive image of the brand that they provide quality with reasonable pricing. Target audience plays a very important role in this case because they are the ones who judge your brand in terms of giving high amount of sales. A high-end product/service may not be selling high by using odd pricing strategy, which aims to make the product seem more affordable. Don't forget to consider your competitors when choosing a psychological pricing method and setting your prices. Straying too far from similar products can make you less competitive.

Why Character Building is Essential?

It seems that for raising children no planning is required. The management of children, especially the character building is effected badly if they are not properly brought up. Parents either don’t research about the matter or their thinking is inconsistent. The decisions made by parents on different situations are taken without any reasoning. Most of the decisions are implemented on the basis of their personal feelings or from the reasoning that has been delivered, whether good or bad either it is related to the education of children or any personal decision.

Character Building consists of two aspects. First, ethical socialization which is the training of children that helps them become a good person throughout their life. It is often confusing to find out what is morally right or wrong. Secondly, providing students with intellectual resources that facilitate them to think and make proper judgments regarding different matters of moral value. Both aspects of ethical education are integrated.

In schools character building is done in many ways. They have moral values incorporated with their dogmas, rules, penalties, uniforms, physical activities, coaching methods, associations among teachers and students. Teachers convey to children what is right and wrong. Students grasp values from the behavior of their elders. It is the responsibility of educators to cultivate students’ personal and public skills which includes bravery, responsibility, respect of elders and community service.

Character building is an initiative which is needed to engage the minds and hearts of students in developing their personality and behavior. We need to help them to learn well, think well and do great.

Fun Business Is Not Easy At All!

The reprehensible nonsense considered as humor now-a-days is an indication of this world’s moral decay.

Back in the 50s, people did not have time for things like humor and fun. At that time laughter was like tying shoe laces or typhoid vaccines which provided benefits but was a luxury that everyone could not afford.

However, people did indulge themselves in some comics of decent, civilized humorist men who told the famous knock-knock jokes and mourned their wives’ shocking spending habits and inacceptable attempts to make pot roast. Those humorists showered the world with gags and jokes about the imperfections of nagging mother-in-laws and menaces of shady immigrants.

Those comics didn’t disparage the nation’s values, they personified them.

While studying fun and laughter in detail, scientists have found that it is very difficult to make people laugh in during an experiment in a lab mainly because people normally laugh in social settings. Studies found that in comedy situations people respond quickly with a laughter. Comedy is very subjective and sex, race, religion and where you live all factor in what people think is funny or not funny. Comedy is in the ear of the beholder.

If you ask me we’re on a path to doom. If we don’t change our comedic stripes soon and return to the simple choices of entertaining pratfalls and cleverly censored one-liners, then it won’t be long before we get our just desserts. We may find ourselves spending an eternity sitting through a never-ending open mic night in the Lenny Bruce Lounge of the Holiday Inn in Hell.

The Trouble with Teenagers

The doorbell rang and as soon as I opened the door my 13-year-old son ran right past me, without as much as a simple “hello”. He ignored my attempt to greet him with a warm smile and hug. And guess what? This had become a daily routine. I often felt that not only was my child growing up, he was growing distant from me at the same time. I wondered if this was a matter of concern. Was their some trouble with my teenager?

The truth is that teenagers are a handful to manage and understand. As they begin to discover their individuality, they begin fighting for more space, freedom and independence. Kids of this age find parents’ involvement in their life quite harrowing because they feel they are mature enough to deal with everything on their own.

As parents we are aware that teenage children are in a sensitive stage of their lives and need to be monitored discretely; not because we don’t trust our children, but because we do not trust the world in which we live. We seek to protect our children from getting harmed or from falling into bad habits. Our need to ensure their safety though is often viewed by them as an intrusion into their personal space, which causes teenagers to rebel against us by becoming reclusive and distant.

A tip to avoid creating this rift with your children is to communicate to them that you are just a concerned parent. Tell them that you want them to be as free, independent and adventurous as they like and that you have no issue with them spreading their wings and exploring the world. They have every right to make their own choices and decisions, even if they make mistakes on their way. The only thing is that you would appreciate if they would keep you in the loop, so as they do not get harmed. If you are able to communicate this to them in a friendly way, there is a chance that your children will continue to be your friends even throughout their teenage years. Give it a shot. Happy Parenting!

Financial Planning – Saving On Your Grocery Expenses

A typical family spends hundreds of dollars on groceries each month, and most of us are looking for ways to get more for our food dollar. Here are simple but effective ways to save on groceries. From spending seasonally to buying in bulk, there are plenty of tried-and-true ways to save money on groceries.

1. Buy in bulk. Most food products are offered in different sizes, so the more you buy, the more you save.

2. Scour the weekly sales. Use the sale leaflets to develop your shopping lists and plan your menus around low cost items.

3. Do the calculations. Be sure to check the cost of items per weight or volume to see what the best deal truly is.

4. Shop seasonally from the neighborhood. Eating in-season products is not only healthy, it's also a great way to save money.

5. Become a member. Most large grocery stores have a membership program that proposes extra savings. In fact, occasionally you are required to be a member in order to take advantage of weekly sale items.

6. Make a list and stick to it. Planning a shopping list will help you home in on how much food you really need and avoid over-buying perishable items.

7. Know what to buy from where. By knowing which stores have the best prices on different classes of goods, you can create a shopping plan to maximize savings on every item.

8. Avoid packaged foods. The price of pre-made and packaged items can often be more than the cost of the ingredients required to make two or three of the same item.

9. Look away from eye level. Grocery stores place the highest priced items at eye level so that consumers can easily see them. Just by shifting your sight to the top or bottom shelves you can probably find alike products for lower prices.

10. Never shop hungry. When you're hungry everything looks good, and it's all too easy to grab everything you desire when you're frantic to eat.

11. Check the receipt. Always take a swift look at the receipt to make sure you are not charged for an analogous but more costly product.

12. Don’t take kids with you on shopping. Chances are that if you have kids, they will continuously ask for extra delicacies and grocery items.

13. Grow your own. From herbs, tomatoes to mushrooms and lettuce it's easy these days to find eatable plants and garden tools that anyone can maintain.

14. Get creative with leftovers. To cut down on waste, innovate or check out creative uses for leftovers to get the most out of your weekly meals.

How To Eradicate Small Complications From Your Life

Optimistic thinking and bringing in positive changes in your lifestyle can help you eradicate the small complications of life. Incorporate these few things as to calm down the confusing events from your life.

• Start conversing clearly. Don’t try to read other people’s minds, and don’t make other people try to read yours. Most setbacks, big and small, between relations, friendships, or professional connections, can mark the onset of bad communication.

• Stop wasting time and money trying to buy more of everything. Start concentrating on quality. Live a cozy life, not an extravagant one. Too many people buy things they don’t need, with money they don’t have, to impress people they don’t know. Do not spend to impress others. Manage your money wisely so that your money does not manage you.

• Stop giving time to negative people. Encircle yourself with people who imitate the person you desire to be. Select friends who you admire, and who love and respect you; people who make your day a little brighter simply by being in it. Life is too short to spend time with people who drain the contentment out of you.

• Stop trying to change people. Accept people just the way they are. In most cases it’s impossible to change them anyway, and it’s impolite to try. So save yourself the stress. Instead of trying to change others, lead by example.

• Stop fretting and complaining. Concentrate on the things you can manage and do something creative out of them. Those who complain the most finish the least. And when you spend your time fretting, you’re simply using your imagination to create problems you don’t want. It’s usually only as good or bad as you think it is.

• Stop being dramatic. Spend less time gossiping about problems and more time helping yourself and others solve them. Stay out of people’s unnecessary drama and don’t put yourself in one.

• Stop trying to be everything to everyone. Concentrate on being everything to someone. Helping everyone is impossible. But making one person beam can change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their world. So narrow down your focus and be yourself.

• Stop making promises you can’t keep. Start under-promising and over-delivering on everything you do.

• Stop blaming others. Take obligation for everything in your life. Either you own your problems, or they will own you. Your choice. When you blame others for what you’re going through, you deny responsibility. This is when you give up control over that part of your life.

• Stop reacting without a proper plan. Arrange and work in the direction of specific goals. Make a catalog of your top 3 to 5 goals. Rank your priorities. What 3 to 5 things do you most desire to do in your life? Simplifying your life starts with these priorities, as you are trying to make room in your life so you have more time for these things.

Are fairy tales too scary for today's children?

Most of you have noticed in a while that parents today, generally don’t encourage their children to read classic childhood fairy tales because of the fact that they are too scary for their young children. Researchers have revealed that most of the parents have wiped off the old classic collection of fairy tales like Snow white, Cinderella, Red Riding Hood and many more from their children’s collection.

The reason for such response is that, children were found in tears after watching the ghastly character of Little Red Riding Hood and often parents resists in reading the Rumplestiltskin to their children because it contains the element of kidnapping and execution which is not good for the mental and emotional health for the young children. Likewise, Goldilocks and the Three Bears was also left by parents on the book shelf because it ignores the impact of stealing on children. Research also shows that parents won’t consider reading a fairy tale to their children until the age of five. Steve Hornsey, General Manager, Watch, said: ''Bedtime stories are supposed to soothe children and send them off to sleep, but as we see in GRIMM, fairytales can be dark and dramatic tales so it's understandable that parents worry about reading them to young children.”

I am sure you must have faced this situation, when your 4 year old child comes to you and ask a question that what if he will be eaten by a fox just like ‘Gingerbread Man’. I am sure you will freak out after listening to this question that is why parents these days avoid stories that might give nightmares to children and disturb their mental health unintentionally. Although parents prefer their children to read and listen fairy tales like The Gruffalo, The Hungary Caterpillar and the Mr. Men books, which gives a strong moral message and helps in creating a strong character of children.

Identifying An Abuser

Spending one’s life in an unpleasant marriage/relationship is not easy. A person has every right to break free of a union that is verbally, physically, emotionally and/or financially abusive.

Rather than seeking to break off your marriage later, wouldn’t it be better to make a conscious effort to choose your life partner wisely?  It could save a lot of psychological turmoil. In most cases a separation/divorce gets really ugly and is an emotionally draining and life disrupting experience.

Marriage is a gamble, even if you make extensive investigations. Nonetheless, before tying the knot, every individual (irrespective of gender) should always watch out for character traits that indicate their significant other is an abuser. Here are some of the behaviors that can help you identify an abuser:

• Constantly undermining you by making you feel incapable of performing even simple tasks.

• Not being comfortable with the idea of you having an independent social life. A potentially abusive partner will be resentful of any time that you spend with your friends.

• Being openly jealous and suspicious of even the most platonic interactions that you have with the opposite gender.

• Discouraging you from maintaining healthy relations with your family.

• Keeping a check on your finances and trying to limit the expenses you incur, even for the most essential of things.

• Monitoring your expenditures even if you are earning independently.

• Attempting to intimidate you by glaring at you or showing signs of physical aggression.

• Setting baseless restrictions on your day to day activities.

• Dictating what you should do and not letting you make independent choices.

• Making frequent disrespectful and unwarranted statements about your parents, siblings and/or extended family.

• Being a hurdle in your career.

• Discouraging you from acquiring further education or polishing your skills.

• Taking away or damaging your possessions.

• Being way too interested in weapons such as guns and knives.

• Showing appreciation and acceptance towards any form of societal violence or terrorist act.

• Insisting upon acts of non-consensual intimacy.

• Coercing you to take drugs or consume alcohol.

This list could go on, but these were the traits that are predominant in most abusers. One can never be too careful though, and if you do end up with an abuser just remember that there is always a way out. You need to be courageous enough to defend yourself and disengage from such a relationship.

What is social marketing?

Usually people mix it up with the conventional cut throat marketing as performed on social media. This form of marketing is however very opposite in nature.

Social marketing refers to the promotional activities conducted by NGOs, Pressure Groups, Governments or all in collaboration. The domain of operations is as such that products which are beneficial for the society and pertain to general interest of the masses are promoted without any organization being benefited from the cause.

For instance promotions of a social cause that needs much public awareness and must be talked about amongst the masses, would classify as Social Marketing. There are several campaigns being locally supported by Governments of different countries, for example, Pakistan is currently working on Polio eradication campaign. Similarly countries in Africa have been working on Ebola eradication campaigns.

Talking of Ebola, it is not only the African countries that have been working on this; this cause has been raised by the global community as well. UN and its associates have taken up the issue quite seriously.

Another issue that has gained much prominence in the global community is that of diabetes. 14TH November is now officially recognized as the World’s Diabetes day. Many NGO’s and Government setups have been seen organizing events to promote the awareness.

The key however to this is to remain creative and original and yes sensitive. The ideas must be as such that masses are able to relate to it or else whole effort would go in vein. Issues like Diabetes, Ebola and Polio are of mass interest and are affecting millions of individuals.

TV Characters the unusual look up to

We live in a world where we have created a perfect system in order to control our lives and see some sort of organizational inclination. From the first day of school to the start of your professional life you will see two types of people around you, the usual ones who are perfectly fine with the system and fit in quite well. Then there the unusual ones, or shall we say, people with learning difficulties.

Ironically, there is not much in our current world what the unsuals may be able to relate to. Everyone needs a little inspiration every now and then, from novels to TV shows; characters depicted in the story line can lighten up anyone’s day and spur a ray of hope in their lives.

If we talk about the unusual ones, there are two TV shows which can serve as an inspiration to them.

The famous TV show “Doctor Who” is a must watch for young people with learning difficulties. The character might not be as real as they get, however the “Doctor” faces some real life challenges, something the unusuals can easily relate to. The Doctor is an alien with 13 lives and 2 hearts who travels through space and time. The character is clever, has a wild imagination and is typically quite unusual. People with learning difficulties easily respond to the character and relate to his problems and inspire to be somewhat like the doctor.

Another character, Sherlock Holmes, from a TV show aired on BBC series, “The Sherlock” has gained popularity in masses specifically the unusual ones. The unique, witty and exceedingly intelligent character has a lot young people with learning difficulties can relate to. He struggles to make peace with everyday life and connect with the rest of the world while trying to prove his worth to the world.

It is a positive sign to see such characters, and few others too, gain such massive popularity amongst masses. The rather unusual ones now have an inspiration to look towards.

1,2,3 for an Entrepreneur to be!

Entrepreneurship has gained quite some prominence as an alternate to corporate lifestyle. Many individuals dream of having their own businesses but they fail to realize how to achieve that dream. However it is not as difficult as it seems.

Energy and sense of urgency

An inclination of basics lies at the heart of any energetic head honcho. It isn't sufficient to have an unprecedented thought; you need to have the will to catch up on it before other make their move. In case Mark Zuckerberg had decided to sit on Facebook and make it happen, progressively over several years as opposed to a few months, he would have been left in the dust. Rather he put his thought vigorously and practically speaking when he made a go at it, it resulted in success.

Develop a team

Indeed the individuals who appear to have based their domains all alone have had the assistance of a decent group. It is normally the case that they manufactured that group themselves. At the point when Steve Jobs established Apple he wasn't the only one, his partners provided for him understanding into the things he didn't comprehend and permitted him to develop the business in all manners on the double.

Dream Big

Young head entrepreneurs dare to dream big. They see the potential results that lie behind unimaginable contemplation and aren't overwhelmed by the extent of what they are seeking after. The truly productive individuals make things one stride immediately and work at what they can manage, however their eye is continually on the greater goal.

If you are waiting for luck to shine on you, don’t wait. There is a lot you can achieve if you stick to these basics.

Google faces competition. Still a long way to go!

Google’s monopoly seems to be facing a major compromise as other search engines emerge in the digital services market. It might not be long before we start to “Bing” for information instead of Google-ing for the same. Recent data indicates that Google has faced the worst ever decline in its market share ever since 2009.

For much of our surprise, Yahoo is climbing the ladder to regain its lost share in the market. Yahoo has not witnessed such a significant increase in its online traffic and simultaneously market share since last five years. Bing however, with 12.5% of searches, is still performing better than Yahoo in many aspects.

On the other hand, Google still hold 77.3% and 75.2% of the total internet searches in November and December respectively. According to Stat Counter, this is the lowest percentage for Google ever since 2008, when the virtual traffic was first monitored.

Experts associate much of this loss due to Yahoo’s partnership with Mozilla, which has now decided to show Yahoo search results instead of results from Google.

Google as a corporation is going through some tough times as it has been caught from all fronts. Legally Google has been facing demands from the European Union, of breaking Google Search Engine and Google Service. In the marketing field it has to deal with emerging competition.

Much is expected from Larry Page, CEO Google, and his team to guide the company out of this rather uncomforting situation.

You’ll forget “4G” once the next generation steps in

Much buzz has been made in the world of technology ever since the inception of 4G wireless network connection which left behind all previous networks with a fair distance. If you have been a “tech-enthusiast” you would remember the phases and turnarounds in the technology from 2007, when it was first launched in South Korea, till 2012, its last U.S designer initiated update.

The world has been exploring next generation of wireless technology to show up. Hans Vestberg, CEO Ericsson, has his eyes set on the 5G. He has already shared his vision on how the next “G” would enable us to establish significantly smarter and faster network intelligence. This will bring the rather revolutionary idea of “every object” being connected to the internet, to life, an idea that would change lives for the better, according to Vestberg, "We are seeing the biggest transformation ahead of us"

Although the visionary CEO does not see this project being finalized until 2020, nevertheless, he has deployed a fully committed team working diligently to oversee its execution to perfection. This swift shift from 4G to 5G would be a rather expansive one; networking in future would not just be limited to transfer of data or high speed internet. 5G is promised to be a “smart network” which would be able to understand the situation in the region of the connected device.

Vestberg gave a demonstration of the network through a helmet connected with the device which would be able to save the drivers life. Ericsson in collaboration with a Swedish sports gear manufacturer, Poc, has developed a prototype, bicycle helmet connected to the network, which would allow other cars to detect its presence and avoid collision. The technology however depends a lot on literally 100% optimization, as other vehicles also need to be connected to the network in order to prevent the collision.

Now this is just a small part of the picture of the future Vestberg envisions. We can all keep our fingers crossed and wait for Ericsson to finalize the project.
