Importance of a Dream Job

“If you get a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”. There's a job out there to fit practically any passion. After extensive research and thought I’ve come to realize that my dream job is to enter the corporate world as a businessman. This job is of my concentration because I have exceptional skills in finance, accounting, marketing and management. However, being extraordinary in these subjects is often not enough to become a successful businessman. Certain traits and qualities are an elementary requirement to help you pass through the thick and thin of the diversified corporate world, and only then one can survive. At first, I have to do a personal inventory to hoard traits of the most successful businessman of all times. These traits will further aid me in enhancing my skills.

My dream job should make me persistent, thick skinned, independent and confident. It should not let my challenges trouble me. Since business dealings usually involve rejections, I want my job to help me face them and turn the negative stances into positive ones. I want to become a businessman who is constantly given challenges so that I can stand up to them and discourse them. I don’t want people to follow me because I want to lead people. Being a businessman, I will be able to adopt leadership qualities that encompass the capability to lead employees, influence them, gather common views, chain networks that may benefit the company and stimulate my fellow partners to want to put in their preeminent abilities so that the business can succeed. Also, I have inordinate interpersonal skills that may benefit in convincing my prospects so that I can turn them into customers and my customers into evangelists. I want to stand among my competitors and grab the maximum market share from them.

I want my job to augment my negotiation skills since it is a very critical aspect and it is quite difficult to achieve mutually desirable results. My dream job should become a pillar for my financial soundness so that I do not deny myself the simpler necessities of existence. Moreover, the life of business also depends upon it. My skills should generate adequate funds so that the business can run efficiently and gain mandatory profits. Since I myself will own the business, my first priority would be to serve my employees and provide them with incentives and motivation. Also, I will be honest and loyal with my employees and co-workers, clients and myself at all times.
